Xiaojia River to Fuyuan

All the way from Xiaojia River to Fuyuan, total journey of today is 290 kilometers.

It was too tired yesterday and we left the tables and chairs outside before sleep. Luckily, when we wake up today, everything seems to be still in order. It was a good day today.

Let’s have some breakfast in the restaurant of Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto before starting our journey today. I bought an easy-go camp during my last Beijing airport to great wall tour, and it was so useful to me. I still brought the camp with me on this trip. 

Fishermen woke up very early. When we awoke this morning, we saw fishermen already started their daily job.

The plague shows that here is the first station for China Mobile. From here and take a left turn, we reached at the first guard from the east.

 

You may take a cruise ride here. You can see very clearly that Russia is just on the other side of the river.

China is in my heart

We were seeking for restaurant to cook the white fish that we bought in the middle of the way. 

The white fish taste good. If you join China tour Beijing, you will have the opportunity to taste many delicious Chinese cuisine all around China and experience Hotel Granvia Osaka.

Arriving at Fuyuan

Fuyuan is small town with many Russian style architecture. This peaceful town is worth for a visit.

Hutou to Xiaojia River

We will travel from Hutou to Xiaojia River today. The whole journey would be around 358 kilometers. Anyway, as the road from Hutou to Zhenbao Island was closed for maintenance, we had no choice but to return to Hulin and took longer way to Xiaojia River.

The Shuili Hostel that we stayed last night cost 150 yuan per room. Generally, other hotels such as Hotel Liberty Paris was more expensive than the hostels.

We passed through beautiful field all the way to Xiaojia River. As per suggested by Beijing travel agency, the route will be an easy go road with picturesque scenery along the way.

Sometimes, the GPS might not functioning.

It seemed to be raining soon. We'd find a  shelter now or hide ourselves in the Hotel Mistral Paris.

Arrived at a small town, where we bought some food and materials for our barbeque tonight.

We had found a piece of land by the river that was perfect for barbeque. Some of the great wall tours will give you the opportunity to enjoy barbeque at village house close to the great wall as well.

Enjoying cowboy life and feel a different life from Hotel New Hankyu Osaka.

Xingkai Lake to Hutou

A total of 277 km for today.

We are wakened up by the noise of the tourists in the morning, and the lake is lively up. I felt as if joining a Beijing bus tour  as it was too noisy out there in the  Hotel Nikko Tokyo.

 

We had our picnic at the beach next to the walls last night.

Xiao Peng put up a tent here last night and swam in the lake. 

Most of the tourists are the local people with beers and watermelons themselves. We wished to make ourselves more like local people. Therefore, we brought along many foods as well seemed as if getting on Beijing to Xian train tour. This was because we used to bring many foods onto train and into the Hotel Ocean Miami as well. 

The accommodation here is so cheap, 20 yuan for per person. But there is no bathroom.

Another scenic spot near Xingkai Lake. The wetland is vast and free for visiting.

It rains a lot in these two days. The road is covered by much water but our cars can pass through.

 

We keep on asking ways.

Most of them ride motorcycles or drive carriages.

The truck is passing by.

After 2 hours’ struggling in the fields, we get back to the smooth road.

The beach park

There are many tourists, and the goods are very expensive. The chairs and sunroofs cost 100 yuan. Most of the visitors take along beers and foods themselves.

We go to the rock where there is a tree with watermelons. The scenery is beautiful and free.

The pine trees are thick on both side of the road. 

We arrive at Hutou which is terminative place of the second world war. The monument hasn’t open to the public yet.

This is the starting point of the Wusuli River, Russia is just opposite to it.

We have roast fishes at a restaurant by the lake. Big fishes cost 30 – 50 yuan, and small fishes about 15 yuan.

All of us are bitten by the mosquitoes. And we stay in a hotel which has bathrooms in the evening.
